"SIVERSKY CLAYNODY"
The collective body of the ensemble of singing and dancing "Siversky Claynody" of Chernihiv regional philharmonic centre of festivals & consert programms was founded in 2002. Since that, at the short period of time, by young, beautiful, full of creative energy performers have been created such programms as: the show "On the Ivan Kupala's Day" on the Desna river, the project "Only For you", the project "Vertep" together with actors of "Molodizhny Theatre", two consert programms of the orchestra group "Musichny Gulyanky", the project" Se Povesty Sovremennyh let", which combines the folk traditions of Siversky region (music, song, dances) with modern rythms, tembers, plasticity. New programms are being created.
"S.C." received deplomas of the International festival "Dniprovsky Golosy in Dubrovno" (Belaruss), the 1-st Ukrainian festival "Cossatskomu Rodu Nema Perevodu", became the winners of the Pavlo Virsky 1-st Ukrainian festival - contest of folk horeography (Kyiv).
The collective body of the ensemble of singing and dancing "S.C." consists of 57 people - these are vocal (20 people), dancing (18),and orchestra (14) groups. Each group has it's own separate programm, wich gives an opportunity, to show the wealth of our tradition in it's different directions - vocal, instrumental, horeographic. Little forms, such as solo, duets, trio, tradition folk music and others, occupy their place of honour in the repertoire of the collective body in their multicolourness of genres. The ensemble recreates the authentic traditional country music of Sivershchina and works on the new separate programms of this direction.
The artistic leader and main conductor of the ensemble of singing and dancing "S.C." Serhiy Vovk, aims the preservation of the traditions of the native region, the attraction of the youth to the listening to the folk music by the combination of the past and the present, and also searching for new forms of the expression of the Ukrainian traditions and culture.
